The Play Screen

After you’ve selected a song to play, you see the Play screen. The Play screen contains several elements:

A. The name of the artist.

B. The name of the album the song is from.

C. The album art (when available).

D. The timeline, which shows the length of the song and how far into the song you are.

E. The name of the song.

F. The next two songs that will play.

G. The Rewind button. Pressing this button once restarts the song. Pressing it twice plays the next song.

H. The Pause button.

I. The Fast Forward button. Pressing this button skips to the next song.

J. The Rate icon. Tapping this icon so that the heart is colored indicates that you like this song. Tapping the icon again turns the icon into a broken heart, indicating that you do not like the song. A heart with a black center, like the one in the figure, indicates that the song is unrated.

K. The Shuffle icon. This icon causes the phone to play music in a random order.

L. The Repeat icon. The song will play repeatedly.

Playing an Album

Just as you can play an individual song, you can play an entire album. To do so, go to the Music section of the Music+Videos hub and complete these steps:

1. Flick to Albums.

2. Tap the album art to play the album. (To instead see the songs on the album, tap the album name.)
