Windows Phone 8 enables you to save
content such as music, videos, and pictures directly to the phone’s
internal storage. With the Phone Storage feature, you can see how much
storage space is currently being used and redirect the storage of new
content to an SD card (if available). You can access the Phone Storage
settings by going to the Settings page and then scrolling to and
tapping Phone Storage.
The Phone Storage screen shows the amount of
storage being used (and the amount of free storage) on the phone and on
the currently inserted SD card (if your phone supports the use of SD
cards).
