Responding to a Meeting Invitation

When someone sends you a meeting invitation, that invitation shows up in your inbox just like any other meeting invitation. When a meeting invitation is viewed through the phone, it looks like any other e-mail message. You can respond to the invitation by completing these steps:

1. With the e-mail meeting invitation open, tap the Respond button.

2. Tap Accept, Tentatively Accept, or Decline for the invitation.

3. Optionally, enter any text to go with your response.

4. Tap Send.

>>>Go Further: Propose New Time

Occasionally, someone might send you an invitation for a meeting that is scheduled for an inconvenient time. When this happens, you have the option to propose a different time. To do so, instead of tapping Accept or Decline, tap the Menu icon and then tap Propose New Time. From here, you can then suggest a new day, time, or duration for the meeting and send the response as normal.
